Orlando Rivera, 48, affectionately known as Orly, was a native of Jersey City who later relocated his family to Linden. Orly possessed an old soul, radiating warmth and kindness to all who crossed his path. He epitomized the roles of a devoted husband, a nurturing father, and a cherished son. Among his peers, he was regarded as a brother, offering boundless compassion and support.
Orly's infectious smile and witty sense of humor had a remarkable ability to brighten any room, turning even the gloomiest of days into moments of shared laughter and joy. He was a steadfast presence, ever ready to lend a helping hand whenever called upon. Above all else, his heart belonged to his family, whom he cherished above all else.
An avid collector, Orly found passion in preserving classic cars and discovering hidden treasures among the relics of yesteryears. His fondest moments were spent at home, surrounded by loved ones, indulging in documentaries, and embarking on cherished vacations to Puerto Rico.
Orly is survived by his beloved wife, Arlene Rivera, and their two cherished children, Georgino and Tatiana Rivera. He is also mourned by his mother, Ana Rivera, and siblings Izzy, Jorge, and Maggie Valle, Ray, and Gladys Rivera.
His absence leaves an irreplaceable void in the lives of those who knew him, yet his memory will forever remain etched in their hearts.
