Cesar Angeles Paguiligan

Cesar Angeles Paguiligan, 73, of Jersey City passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2018.  Cesar was born in Pulilan, Bulacan, Philippines.

Cesar Paguiligan is survived by his beloved wife, Emerlita, and four sons Joe, Jay, James and Jeremy and his sisters, Presing and Marina, and brothers, Hill and John, and many nephews and nieces.

Cesar immigrated to the United States with his family in 1977.  He is a 40 year resident of Jersey City.  He worked hard as a blue collar worker to provide for his family and live his American Dream.  He was a proud father of his four sons who all graduated from college.  Cesar was active in the Filipino American Community.  He was former president of Filipino Club International of Jersey City and BUSILAK (Bulekenos ng Silalangang Amerika sa Kaunluran), Inc.  Cesar was also a very active participant and volunteer at the Sanatacruzan Festival at the old St Mary's Parish from its inception in 1978 and throughout the following years.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, February 15, 2018, 11:00am at St. John the Baptist Church, 3026 Kennedy Blvd, Jersey City, NJ 07306.  Visitation will follow in the evening on Thursday, February 15, 2018, 7:00pm to 10:00pm at RIOTTO FUNERAL HOME & Cremation Company, 3205 John F. Kennedy Blvd., Jersey City.  Additional funeral services and burial will take place in the Philippines at a later date.
