Elia Roman

Elia Lisa Roman, 65, of Jersey City, was born April 4, 1951 and passed away surrounded by loved ones on Saturday, August 27, 2016. 

Elia is survived by her husband, two daughters, three granddaughters, and a large loving network of family and friends. She is fondly remembered for her large loving heart, generosity, and spirit of welcome. To those close to her, there was a biting sense of humor! She was clever with those sassy remarks, funny faces, and brutal honesty. She was quick to make your favorite Thanksgiving dish or have the entire family over for Christmas---all day. She always made you, and anyone you came with, feel special.  In fact, if you brought someone over, they became family. So easy to love, so hard to say goodbye to---that was Lee. 

Visitation is from RIOTTO FUNERAL HOME & Cremation Company, 3205 John F. Kennedy Blvd., Jersey City, NJ 07306 (For GPS navigation it is best to use street address: 14 Stagg St.) on Tuesday, August 30, 2016, 4:00pm to 8:00pm.  Cremation will follow private.
