Galo Isidro Garcia

Galo Isidro Garcia, 85 of Jersey City, entered into eternal life on July 29th at Christ Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.  Born May 15, 1932 in Manabí, Ecuador, he lived in Jersey City for 50 years.  He was a retired warehouse foreman.  He exemplified what it meant to be a father. When his children were young, he instilled in them the values of faith, wisdom, love and hard work, all of which, have become an important aspect of their daily living.   He also made note, to transmit the family history to not only his children but his grandchildren, arguably, he was everyone's favorite grandfather. But most of all, he will be remembered for his liveliness and great sense of humor. 

He is survived by his beloved wife: Blanca Azucena Garcia, his adored children: the late Lenin Garcia, Galo Garcia, Jr., Azucena Burbano & her husband, Artemio, Graciela Santander & her husband, Patricio, Carolina Garcia, & Joe Garcia, his cherished grandchildren; Bracie, Ivonne, Pierre, Jean Paul, Sophia, Steven, Sabrina, Stephen, Suhani, Natalia, Stephanie, Blanca & Lenin, great-grandchildren; Nashalie, Valeria & Jacob.  He is also the dear brother of Esmeralda, Georgia, Efrain, Dolly and the late Olga, Jaime & Carlos. 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 2nd from 5:00 p.m. through 9:00 p.m. at the Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Company, 3205 Kennedy Blvd., Jersey City, NJ. (RIOTTOFH.com) (Use 14 Stagg Street for GPS).  Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Thursday, August 3rd at Holy Rosary Church at 10:30 a.m.   Interment will follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa.
