I just noticed this and it brought back memories. Although over fifty years have gone by, I can still see her sitting in the front of the store at her sewing machine. My condolences... Albeit belated.

Dear Gail and Karen,
Pilar and I are so terribly sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. We know how much you loved her and the time you spent caring for her. All the cherished memories that you have of your mom will be with you always. Even though your pain is great at this time, please find comfort that she is on her way to her final resting place with God in Heaven. As you live the rest of your lives being the wonderful ladies that you are, know that your mother’s spirit lives within you and will always be there to guide and comfort you as your personal journey continues to unfold. Please let us know if we can be of any help during this most difficult time.

We are sorry to hear of your wonderful mother passing away.
Michel was glad to have spent some time in your kitchen with
