Miguel "Mike" A. Tosado

Miguel "Mike" A. Tosado, 74, a lifelong resident of Jersey City passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2017 surrounded by his loving family.  Miguel was born in Florida, Puerto Rico and immigrated to Jersey City in 1961.

Miguel retired from the United States Postal Service.  After retirement, he would help at his son Jesus' pharmacy, Ferrara Drugs & Liquors, Jersey City.  He loved assisting anyone in need and spending time with family especially his granddaughters.

Miguel was the beloved husband of 55 years to Aurelina "Laura" (nee Reyes); devoted father of Yvette Tosado-Kull and Jesus Tosado & wife Migdonia; cherished grandfather of Isabella Kull and Ashley Lin Tosado; loving brother of Tony, Luis, Doris, Fanny, Carmen and Abraham Tosado; dear brother-in-law of Gladys and Myrella Melendez, Miriam Fernandez, Anibal and Aida Reyes.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Sunday and Monday, 4:00pm to 8:00pm at RIOTTO FUNERAL HOME & Cremation Company, 3205 John F. Kennedy Blvd, Jersey City, NJ 07306.  Funeral will begin on Tuesday, August 1, 2017, 9:00am at the funeral home.  Funeral Mass will follow 10:00am at St. Aloysius Church, Jersey City.  Entombment will take place at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington.
