Patrosinio Castro-Colon

Patrocino Castro, 88 of Jersey City, entered into eternal life on September 3rd at the Valley Hospital, Ridgewood.  Born in Vega Alta, Puerto Rico on March 17, 1939, he lived most of his life in downtown Jersey City.  Patrocino was a proud and highly decorated World War II US Army Veteran having received many medals and commendations. He worked for many years as a Mechanic on Communipaw Avenue. He is survived by his sister, Carmen Medal & many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 7th from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Company, 3205 Kennedy Blvd., Jersey City, NJ 07306.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 8th at 12:00 p.m. at St. Mary's Church, Jersey City.  Interment will follow at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City.
