Timothy “Timmy” Cooper, 63, of Jersey City passed away on July 15th, 2017 in Belleville, NJ.  Timmy was born May 14th, 1954 in Jersey City, NJ.He graduated from Dickinson High School and then worked with his mother and sister at Colgate. Timmy worked for a number of years as a truck driver until he was injured on the job. He then worked as a bartender throughout Jersey City.

Timmy was a respectable Irish man who embraced his roots; he had an amazing skill for playing pool and rarely ever lost. He enjoyed riding his Harley, spending time with friends and family, and his role as “Pop-Pop” to Angelina and Luis.

He was preceded in death by his parents Helen and Robert, his sister Candace, and his beloved dog Mugzy.Timmy is survived by his daughter Candace Pitcher, his niece Elizabeth Wall, his grand children Angelina and Luis, his two godsons Michael and Jason, and many cousins.

Visitation will be held on Friday July 21, 2017 from 10am to 12pm at RIOTTO FUNERAL HOME & Cremation Company, 3205 John F. Kennedy Blvd., Jersey City, NJ 07306. Mass will follow at St. Nicks at 12:30pm.
