David Truong

With great sadness, we announce that David Truong, aged 78, entered into eternal rest on April 10, 2024, in Jersey City, NJ with his family lovingly by his side. David was born on February 8, 1947 in his beloved city of Hue, Vietnam where he spent most of his adult life to raise his children with his wife. He served in the military during the Vietnam War from 1965 – 1975. In 1995, he moved to the United States to start a new life with his family. In his free time, he enjoyed watching sports, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren.

David Truong is survived by his dedicating wife (Jenna Huynh), his three devoting children (Vinh Truong, Kelvin Truong, and Amy Loan Truong), and many loving grandchildren. He was known for his outgoing personality, immense humor, and unyielding dedication to his family.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Sunday, April 14, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Riotto Funeral Home and Cremation Company, located at 3205 Kennedy Blvd, Jersey City (For GPS Navigation, it is best to use our parking lot entrance address: 14 Stagg St., Jersey City). The funeral will take place on Monday, April 15, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the funeral home. The interment will follow at 12:00 PM at Hillside Cemetery, located at 742 Rutherford Ave, Lyndhurst, NJ.
