Estelle A. Petrina

Estelle A. Petrina (née Ruggiero), 64, of Jersey City entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 20, 2024.

Estelle worked many years for Panasonic in Secaucus and then retired from Ruggiero's Deli in Jersey City.  She enjoyed cooking and baking, especially her anisette cookies for family and friends. Estelle was devoted to her senior programs.  She loved shopping, getting her nails done, listening to music, watching Lifetime Movies and talk shows.  Estelle was excited to see the birth of her first grandson, Chase.  She always saw the best in people, was always willing to help and was a kind soul.

Estelle is the beloved mother of Melissa Petrina & husband Enrique; also survived by Melissa's father Lou Petrina; adoring grandmother of Chase Lecaros; devoted daughter of the late Vincent and Irene Ruggiero; loving sister of Vincent Ruggiero & wife Uli, and John Ruggiero; cherished aunt of Evan, Gina, Vincent, Jr; adoring great-aunt of James, Michael, Rosa and Mary.

Visitation is on Saturday, March 23, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Company, 3205 Kennedy Blvd. Jersey City, NJ 07306. (For GPS navigation, it is best to use our parking lot address: 14 Stagg Street, Jersey City). (www.riottofh.com)  Cremation will be private.
