Frances Ann Barbosa

Frances Barbosa, 47, of Bayonne; entered into eternal rest on Monday, March 11, 2024.  She enjoyed shopping with Cynthia, decorating and planning parties, and cooking.  Her favorite dishes were making Italian, Irish, and Spanish foods.  She enjoyed listening to music.  She took pride in earning her Associate's degree from Hudson County Community College, and earning her real estate license.  She had a "heart of gold," and was always there for anyone who needed her. 

Frances is survived by her loving daughter Cynthia Barbosa; devoted sisters Virginia Peacock and Erin Peacock, and brother Shawn Peacock; nieces Alexyss, Addison, Faith and Samantha; nephews Xavier, Jovi, Aidan and Matthew; god-sons Gabriel and Jonathan; treasured god-sister/cousin Deirdre Serrano; mother-in-law Dominga Ramos; cousin Samantha Ramirez; great-nephew Jaedyn; and step-mother Susan Goldenberg.  She is predeceased by her parents James and Frances; grandmother Bertha; and her cherished dogs Lyla, Lily, and Luey.  She is survived by many loving relatives and friends.    

Visitation is Wednesday, March 20, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Company, 3205 Kennedy Blvd. Jersey City, NJ 07306.  (For GPS Navigation, it is best to use our parking lot address: 14 Stagg Street).  Cremation will be private.  In lieu of flowers, charitable donations will be accepted to help cover her funeral expenses.
