Rafael Perez, Jr.

Rafael Perez, Jr. of Jersey City passed away unexpectedly on October 25,2021 at the age of 57. He was employed by MG Security Services where he worked as a Fire & Life Safety Director for many, many years in Verizon buildings in New York City.

Rafael was the loving son of Rafael Perez Marrero and Lucila Garcia Santiago.  He was born on July 25, 1964, in the Bronx, New York. Rafael was married to his beloved wife, Madeline Rios Perez who predeceased him on September 6, 2019. Also predeceased are his father, Rafael, and his sister, Lillian Martinez, all of which he will join in heaven.

He is survived by his three siblings, Miriam Ivette Perez, Evelyn Perez and her husband, Robert E. Moyer and Myrna Enid Garcia and her husband, Raul Garcia, along with godchildren, nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, and in-laws.

Visitation for Rafael is on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at RIOTTO FUNERAL HOME & Cremation Company, 3205 John F. Kennedy Blvd., Jersey City, NJ 07306 (For GPS Navigation, it is best to use our parking lot entrance address 14 Stagg St., Jersey City).  Additional funeral services and burial will take place in Puerto Rico at a later date.
