Blandina "Dina" Briones

Blandina "Dina" Briones, 67, of Jersey City, left us on Thursday, July 6, 2017. Dina was born in Naga City, Philippines and immigrated to Jersey City in 1970.

Blandina was a Medical Technologist for Hospital of Special Surgery, New York City.  She received a Bachelor's in Accounting and Medical Technology graduating Cum Laude at University of Santo Tomas, Manila, Philippines. She was a member of Our Lady of Penafrancia Devotees Association, Jersey City. Blandina, fondly called "Dina" by friends and "Nene" by family, was a doting sister and a loving mother to many who knew her. Dina was noted to be witty and the best guidance counselor you could ever find. She could always find a solution to everything and never gave up on her principles. She was a connoisseur of good food, loved to travel around the world, and explore the natural wonders of the world. 

Blandina was the beloved daughter of Natividad "Naty" and the late Jacobo; Dear sister of Sabino Briones, Maria Linda Llaguno, Maria Theresa Dy, Maria Lourdes O. Briones and the late Maria Delia. Also survived by loving nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and co-workers.

Visitation will be on Sunday, July 9, 2017, 5:00pm to 9:00pm at RIOTTO FUNERAL HOME & Cremation Company, 3205 John F. Kennedy Blvd., Jersey City, NJ 07306 (For GPS Navigation it is best to use parking lot entrance address: 14 Stagg St.).  Funeral Mass and interment will take place in Naga City, Philippines.
