Diane F (Burzi) Weber

Diane F. Weber, 69 of Jersey City, entered into eternal rest on December 28, 2018 at her home.   Born in Jersey City to the late Joseph & Florence Burzi, she was a lifelong resident and graduate of Dickinson High School.   Diane was a homemaker, devoted to caring for not only her family but others.  She was considered to be a second mother to many in the Heights neighborhood of Jersey City.  She had an open door policy and boasts having babysat for hundreds of kids over a 40 year span.   Her loving, compassionate & nurturing qualities are what everyone will miss the most.

She is predeceased by her husband, Raymond Weber, and her brother, Floyd Burzi. 

Surviving to cherish her memory are her children; Dave Weber (JCPD) & his wife, Tracy, Ray Weber (JCPD) & his wife, Vanessa & Lauren Schwerdtfeger & her husband, Dennis, her grandchildren; Michael Martucci, Justin Weber – Gustoso, Sydney & Olivia Weber & Gianna & Alexandra Schwerdtfeger.  She is also survived by her beloved dog, Bella.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 1st from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Co., 3205 Kennedy Blvd., Jersey City. (Use 14 Stagg St for GPS).  Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Wednesday morning, January 2nd at 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home.   A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Anne’s Church, Jersey City at 10:00 a.m.   Mausoleum Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington.
