Domenick Cutri, 84, of Jersey City, passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. Domenick was born in Amato, Italy, and moved to Jersey City when he was 16 years old.
Domenick founded DC Travel Bureau, Jersey City in 1974 which is presently managed by his wife Grace. He also worked for Western Electric from 1953 to 1974. Domenick enlisted in the U.S. Army and served in Korea during the Korean War.
Domenick was a member of the Columbus Democratic Club in Jersey City and Korean War Veterans Assoc., Bayonne. He also founded the Jersey City Youth Soccer Federation. Domenick will always be remembered for the love he had for his family and his friends.
Domenick was the beloved husband of Grace Cutri; devoted father of Rachel Gallagher & husband Thomas, Mary Cutri-French & husband Bill, Luigi Cutri & fiancé Michele; loving grandfather of Clare, Angela, Daniel, Allison, Liam and Madison; dear brother of the late Vincent Cutri.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 1, 2017, 4-8pm at RIOTTO FUNERAL HOME, 3205 Kennedy Blvd, Jersey City, NJ 07306 (www.riottofh.com). Funeral on Wednesday, August 2, 2017, 9:30am at the funeral home. Funeral Mass 10:30am at St. Paul of the Cross Church, Jersey City. Entombment at Holy Cross Mausoleum, N. Arlington.
