Dorothy Henderson, 78, of Jersey City, formerly of New York City passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 19, 2017.

Dorothy was a retired teacher's aide for the New York City Board of Education.

Dorothy was the beloved mother of Denise Chambliss, Kioka Jasmine Henderson and Angela Henderson. Also survived by many loving relatives and dear friends.

Cremation was private and memorial service will be planned at a later date.
