Efrain Padilla

Efrain Padilla, 75, of Jersey City, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Friday, August 17, 2018.  Efrain was born in Sabana Grande, Puerto Rico and lived most his life in Jersey City. 

Efrain proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.  His greatest love was spending time with family especially his grandchildren.

Efrain was the beloved husband of Niurka Lugo; devoted father of Betsy, Efrain, Paulette and J.C. Padilla; loving son of the late Pablo and Bertha Padilla; dear brother of Victor, Angel, William and the late Alicia and Julio Padilla.  Also survived by many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation is on Sunday, August 19, 2018, 5:00pm to 9:00pm at RIOTTO FUNERAL HOME & Cremation Company, 3205 John F. Kennedy Blvd, Jersey City, NJ 07306 (For GPS Navigation it is best to use parking lot entrance address: 14 Stagg St.).  Everyone will meet for a Funeral Mass on Monday, August 20, 2018, 11:00am at St. Aloysius Church, Jersey City.  Interment will follow at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City.
