Eleanor Weihrich

Eleanor Weihrich (nee Proske), 95, a lifelong resident of Jersey City, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, November 18, 2018. 

Eleanor was a statistical typist for 18 years with Morgan Stanley in New York City and retired in 1988.  She was a member of the Summit Club in Jersey City.  Eleanor enjoyed watching quiz shows with her son Richard and loved caring for her cats, especially Oreo.

Eleanor was the beloved wife of the late Paul F. Weihrich who passed away in 1998; devoted mother of Richard Weihrich; loving daughter of the late Herman and Marie Weihrich; dear sister of the late Viola Hammann and Joan Rynning.

Visitation is on Sunday, November 25, 2018, 2:00pm to 5:00pm at RIOTTO FUNERAL HOME & Cremation Company, 3205 John F. Kennedy Blvd., Jersey City, NJ 07306.  Funeral will begin on Monday, November 26, 2018, 9:00am at the funeral home.  Funeral Mass will follow 10:00am at St. Nicholas Church, Jersey City.  Interment will take place at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City.
