Eloise Bell

Eloise Bell, 85, formerly of South Carolina, of Jersey City passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones.  She was known to her family as a "super mom," an awesome grandma, and great-grandma. Eloise was baptized in 1969 and dedicated her life to Jehovah as one of Jehovah's witnesses. She was a faithful servant along with her husband and children preaching about God's Kingdom.

Eloise was the type of mother that loved cooking the most delicious meals, loved being clean, and maintained a clean home. She would even iron her children's play clothes saying that "I want everybody to know that my kids have a mother." No matter what her family always knew that they can rely on Eloise to be home, waiting for her children to return from school to care for them. As the neighborhood babysitter, she was well known and respected as "Ms. Bell." Eloise was the type of wife that brought her husband's meals to the bedside and never allowed her children to spend the night elsewhere because of her protective nature and love for her family to stay close.  Eloise's children never needed daycare, as she was readily there as with her children to give her love and attention.

Eloise is predeceased by her husband, George and father.  She is survived by her 7 children: Anastasia Anita Allen, Javia Shaunda Bell, Javis Curtis Bell, Jennifer Maria Bell, Toni Yvette Bell, Shane Ira Bell, and Racquel Bell Taylor; her 8 grandchildren: Anthony Keving Henry, Corey Bell, Janaya Henry, Kyle Bell, Paris Bell, Javere Bell, Ariel Gonzalez, Jenna Gerve, Emmy Grace Taylor; and by her 6 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is Friday, May 24, 2019 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Company, 3205 John F. Kennedy Blvd., Jersey City.  (For GPS Navigation, it is best to use our parking lot address: 14 Stagg Street, Jersey City).  Interment will follow at Arlington Cemetery, 748 Schuyler Ave., Kearny, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations can be make in Eloise's name to American Cancer Association.
