Evangelia Pakaki

Evangelia Pakaki, 59, of Jersey City, formerly of Karpothos Island, Greece. She was a loving mother, who enjoyed spending her time taking care of her family. 

She is predeceased by her husband, Aristides Halkias, and her sister who passed away in Greece.  She is survived by her son, Euthimios "Tim" Halkias, her brother who lives in Greece, and by her many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation is on Thursday, August 30, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at RIOTTO FUNERAL HOME & Cremation Company, 3205 John F. Kennedy Blvd., Jersey City, NJ 07306. (For GPS Navigation it is best to use parking lot entrance address: 14 Stagg St.). A Trisagion service will take place at 6:30 p.m. during visitation on Thursday. On Friday, August 31, 2018 everyone is welcomed to meet at Evangelismos Greek Orthodox Church, Jersey City at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Bayview Cemetery, Jersey City.  In lieu of flowers, the family wishes to have personal donations.
