Jack H. Palmer, 68, of Lake Hopatcong, passed away, Saturday, August 31st, 2019, surrounded by his beloved family.
Jack was born February 9th, 1951 in Summit, New Jersey; he was the son of the late Howard R. Palmer and Margaret B. Stephens. A former military veteran, Jack worked as a Service Manager at Franklin Sussex Auto mall for over thirty years. Jack had a sincere passion for being on the water with his family. It is there on the shores of Lake Hopatcong where he and his children spent many summer afternoons boating and fishing together enjoying life. Jack will be eternally remembered as a loyal & loving father, grandfather, and family man with an undeniable heart of gold to everyone to whom he encountered.
Jack is survived by his three children, son Jack W. Palmer of Denville, daughter Brissen L. Alles of Green Township, son Mark A. Palmer of Newton, stepson Jesse Burrini of Fredon, stepdaughter Stacy Crosson of Panther Valley, son in law Charles Alles of Green Township, granddaughter Makayla, brother Mike Palmer of Kinnelon, sister Elaine Rodriguez of Virginia, as well as countless other dear friends and family members.
A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, September 7th, 2019 at Grace Church on The Mount; 1500 US 46 in Netcong, NJ 07857 at 2:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made with Presto Flowers located at 14 Lakeside Blvd. Lake Hopatcong, NJ 07843; (973) 810-2911. All arrangements will be delivered by Presto Flowers to the memorial location.
Jack fought a long and challenging battle with his illness. He passed as a true fighter surrounded by his loving and devoted children.
