Jerry Faugno

It is with great sadness that the family of Jerry (Rosario) Faugno announces his passing after a brief illness, surrounded by family on January 3, 2018, at the age of 86. The loving son of Rose and Henry Faugno will be missed by his surviving sister Dolores Marciniak (nee Faugno), and dear friend Pat Jackson, together with numerous nieces and nephews and their families.

The family is happy to say Jerry loved the life he lived. We are so very thankful for the unending memories he has left with us. Everyone who knew him loved him and he loved entertaining everyone with singing beautiful songs and telling funny jokes.  Be it on his many organized bus trips to AC or at a family gathering, he was never at a loss for a way to make us smile.  He was happy to have experienced 55 fun filled cruises, had a knack for never looking his age, was generous to a fault, and showed kindness to everyone he met. His greatest legacy is his unconditional love of his family and dear friends. 

To think I did all that
And may I say - not in a shy way
Oh no, oh no, not me
I did it my way!

At Jerry’s request no services will be held. The family will honor him privately.

Donations in Jerry’s name may be made to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Jersey City, or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
