Joann Raia

Joann Raia, a lifelong resident of Jersey City.  It is with heavy hearts that the family announces that Joann passed away on January 6, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved daughter of the late Eleanor and Joseph Raia. Joann will be greatly missed by her brother: Joseph Raia and his wife Sharon Raia; Her devoted nephew: Jake Owens Raia; Her dear friend: Ramonita Castoire, and by numerous cousins and friends.

Joann loved to travel and had a great love for Italian opera.  She was an employee of Prudential for many years, where she enjoyed her career as a purchasing agent.  Joann was generous to a fault with an unconditional love for her family.

At Joann's request no services will be held.  The family will honor her privately.
