Jorge Enrique Romero

Jorge Enrique Romero, 83, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2019.  He was born in Bogota, Colombia; and lived in Jersey City, NJ for 50+ years. He worked as a superintendant before retiring. Jorge enjoyed working on cars and always had a natural talent as a handyman. He loved helping people by fixing things for them and after retiring, he made himself available to assist family and friends with various tasks. 

Jorge is survived by his older brother Alejandro Romero, his younger brother German Romero, his younger sisters Leonor Sanchez and Connie Campo, his grandson Johnathan, his great grandchildren Michael Jr and Scarlet, and his many nieces and nephews. Jorge is predeceased by his parents Heraclio and Leonor Romero, his first wife Lijia Romero, their daughter Maria Pilar Romero, his grandson Michael Romero, and his second wife Ana Romero.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, August 1, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Company, 3205 John F. Kennedy Blvd. Jersey City, NJ 07306.  (For GPS navigation, it is best to use our parking lot address: 14 Stagg Street, Jersey City).  Cremation will be private.
