Joseph F Mawson

Joseph F. Mawson, 60 of Jersey City, entered into eternal life on November 17th at his home.  Born in Jersey City to the late Joseph & Lena, he was a lifelong resident.   A graduate of Ferris High School, Joe was employed as a Head Custodian and Boiler Operator for P.S. 23 in Jersey City, retiring in 2013.  Joe was a kind and gentle soul, always willing to help someone in need.  He will be missed by his many friends and colleagues.   He is survived by his cousins, Larry, Barbara & Joseph Donargo and many friends and neighbors.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Wednesday, November 21st at 9:00 a.m. from the Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Company, 3205 Kennedy Blvd., Jersey City, NJ (RiottoFH.com). A Funeral Mass will be offered at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church, Jersey City, NJ. Interment will follow at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 20th from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
