Kenneth J. Ford

Kenneth John Ford, passed away on February 5, 2018. Born on November 22, 1952, Kenneth was a loving husband to Andrea and caring father to Warren, and has joined them both in Heaven. He is survived by sister Virginia and a multitude of friends and neighbors who loved him deeply and cherished his company.

A native New Yorker, and a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, for the last 30 years Kenneth has been living in New Jersey. As a resident of Jersey City he'd spent many years working at the Siperstein's Paint Co., where generations of customers knew him as a kind and sincere salesman who put people at ease and always made them want to come back for a chat.

Kenneth was very involved in his neighborhood, as Vice President of Center St Block Association and a member of block watch. He was always helping everyone he could: assisting the homeless, participating in neighborhood clean-ups, and working with the Animal Response Team to take care of stray cats in the area. Kenneth was a remarkable person, a true friend and a blessing to all who knew him. He will be tremendously missed. 

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2018, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, at RIOTTO FUNERAL HOME & Cremation Company, 3205 John F. Kennedy Blvd, Jersey City, NJ 07306 Phone: (201)798-3100 (For GPS Navigation it is best to use parking lot entrance address: 14 Stagg St.)  Cremation will be private.
