Lorraine Kozar

Lorraine Kozar (nee Rogalski), 72, lifelong resident of Jersey City, New Jersey, passed away on Wednesday, January 16, 2019.

She was the beloved wife and lifelong friend of Michael; the loving mother of Sandra Dasaro and her husband Chris and Michele Kozar; and the cherished grandmother of Miranda, Sasha, Grayden, and Isabel. She was a homemaker and secretary for St. Peter’s College and the Society of Marine Architects and Naval Engineers among others. She enjoyed gardening, jigsaw puzzles, and sailing on the Hudson River with her husband Michael.

A visitation for Lorraine will be held on Monday, January 21, 2019, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Riotto Funeral Home (For GPS use address 14 Stagg St., Jersey City). Cremation will be private. A Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, January 26, 2018, 10:00 AM at St. Aedan's Church, Jersey City. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Lorraine's name to the: American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org)  (1-800-227-2345).
