My sincere and deepest condolences to the family of Marvin Strynar. We never lose a loved one when they are forever etched in our hearts. May the celebration of his life overpower the sting of his death. I remember when I first met him I took an instant liking to him. I thought he had a coolness about himself that was very endearing. May his spirit rest in eternal peace. Sincerely submitted by a former student of then P.S. 37. You touched my life and will be remembered.

To the family of Martin Strynar
Please accept my sincere condolences. I have taken comfort knowing that God . . . will wipe all tears from their eyes, and there will be no more death, suffering, crying, or pain.”—Revelation 21:3, 4
The Bible, however, holds out a much different hope. As we have previously noted, the Scriptures indicate that it is possible to be reunited with your dead loved one in the near future, not in an unknown heaven but right here on earth under peaceful, righteous conditions. And at that time humans will have the prospect of enjoying perfect health, and they will never have to die again. ‘But surely that is wishful thinking!’ some may say words of encouragement please go to JW.org for words of encouragement
Sincerely,
Roberta

May you rest in peace my friend. Thank you for taking care of my mother, Denise Davis, while working at Cordero Middle School during her career and for the endless childhood memories my brother Brian and I have from being raised in Jersey City. And specifically in the Cordero community. While Brian and I didnt go to school at Cordero we spent enough time there and you always made us feel welcome. We are blessed and thankful to have had you in our lives.
We will never forget you. Until we meet again Mr. Stynar.
Love,

My heart is heavy, as I know my family members are hurting from the loss of their most revered patriarch and mentor. Marvin was a tough, hard-working, real man who expected no less from anyone he had a relationship with; it was difficult to live up to sometimes, but he made me want to. I thank God for his contribution in making it possible for me to enjoy the gift of parenting my beautiful children, his grandchildren, Rene' Michelle and Jacob. It was from him and his dear wife, Ann, that I witnessed the best example of a loving family I have seen. I am confident that my children are more enriched, because of his and her examples. Thank you, Marvin, for defending our country with your service to the US Army. Thank you for ensuring the better education of our young people. Thank you for everything you have contributed to our society. You will always be remembered fondly.

All my love and aloha to you all at this difficult time. There will never be words to convey the loss that the whole Jersey City community is feeling along with you.
Mr. Strynar was the principal that knew every single student from Pre-K all the way to 8th grade and made sure each and every one of us all knew that he cared. (As a teacher now myself, just that is impressive!) He also made being at school fun for everyone who surrounded him, and he was most definitely the coolest principal ever, riding up every morning on his Harley. I still remember his assemblies, and how the entire school would fill the auditorium and quiet to hear him speak or tell a "dad joke", or sing along with him to any number of songs.
I will forever be grateful for his service to my hometown and for the foundation he helped to build that allowed me to become successful for the rest of my life.
Thank you Mr. Strynar, you will be missed, until we meet again. A hui ho...

My deepest condolences at this time of your amazing husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Mr Strynar was a tough boss but he had a kind and sweet heart when you had any personal trouble. He was always a listening ear. I will surely miss him. I remember how kind he was when I was going through my daughter's Erica tumor and how he devoted time to talk to me and ask me about my daughter until the day that she went to be with the Lord. They are both at peace and no more suffering. I pray that God will give you all the peace during this time. God bless you all.
Mr Strynar I will never forget you!
