Onofrio "Nino" Lanza

Onofrio "Nino" Lanza, 77 of Weehawken, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at Hoboken University Medical Center.  Born July 26, 1942 in Molfetta, Italy, to the late Cesare Lanza & Laura (nee: DeMuso) he lived in Hoboken before moving to Weehawken 30 years ago.   He was a skilled Carpenter.  Nino was a proud and devout member of the Madonna dei Martiri Society of Hoboken and enjoyed the camaraderie and celebrations around the Feast every September.

He is predeceased by his son Cesare Lanza & siblings; Ignacio & Luigi Lanza.

He is the beloved husband of Antonia (nee: DeNichilo), cherished father of Nicola "Nicky" Lanza & his wife Katie & of Laura Lanza & proud and loving grandfather of Melany & Wendy Lanza. 

He is also survived by his brothers Frank & Crescenzio Lanza and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 12, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Co., Jersey City (For GPS use 14 Stagg Street).

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Monday, January 13th at 8:45 a.m.  A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Francis Church, Hoboken at 10:00 a.m.

Mausoleum Entombment will follow at Fairview Mausoleum, Fairview.
