Peter Di Mascio, 87, passed away peacefully with his family at his bedside on July 31, 2019. He was born and resided in Jersey City, and met the love of his life, Veronica Ann Di Mascio. After Peter retired, he and Veronica moved to Pennsylvania. He is an honorably discharged corporal Army veteran for the United States, and served during the Korean War. After his services, he worked in Hoboken as a packer for Standard Brands, and in Jersey City as an electrical code building inspector. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Queen of Peace Roman Catholic Church in Pennslyvania, where he lived.
He is predeceased by his loving wife who he had taken care of during her time of need before passing away in October 13, 2011, Veronica Ann; his siblings, Joseph, Eugenio, Pietro, Louis, Grace, Salvatore, Anthony, Rose, Stella, August, and Onofrio. He is survived by many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation is on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Company, 3205 John F. Kennedy Blvd. Jersey City, NJ. (For GPS navigation, it is best to use our parking lot address: 14 Stagg Street). Funeral will be on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 beginning at 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, N. Arlington.
