Rocco N. Percontino

Rocco N. Percontino, 82, of Jersey City, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, February 10, 2018.  Rocco was born in Sassano, Salerno, Italy, in 1935 and immigrated with his mother Rose and brother John to Downtown Jersey City in 1940.  He married his beloved wife Vita (nee Tangredi) on April 23, 1964 in Cervinara, Avellino, Italy.  They settled in the Jersey City Heights and began their family.

His memory will forever live on through his beloved wife Vita; his loving children, Rosina & Gino Siniscalchi, Stefania and John Bonfiglio, Michael & Gina Percontino, Luigi "Gino" & Elizabeth Percontino; his cherished grandchildren who love him and will miss him dearly, Viana, Gino, Sofia, Gianna, Isabella, Nicholas, Gino Gianrocco.

Visitation is on Wednesday, February 14, 2018, 5:00pm to 9:00pm at RIOTTO FUNERAL HOME & Cremation Company, 3205 John F. Kennedy Blvd., Jersey City, NJ 07306.  Funeral will begin on Thursday, February 15, 2018, 9:30am at the funeral home.  Funeral Mass will follow 10:30am at St. Nicholas Church, Jersey City.  Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
