Rose Mauro

Rose Mauro, 90, of Bayonne, and formerly of Jersey City, passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2018. 

Rose was a long time parishioner and long time member of the Senior Social Club at Our Lady of Mercy Church in Jersey City. 

She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Alphonse Mauro, in 1990. She was also predeceased by her beloved siblings: Mary Ferrante, Catherine Genova, Beatrice De Young, Josephine Torturelli, Peter Guarino, Salvatore Guarino, Joseph Guarino, Angela Erianne, Mildred Guarino, and Susan Niehold. 

Surviving are her loving children: Marilyn and her husband David Buda; and Jim Mauro and his wife Lynne. 

Also surviving are her cherished grandchildren:  Jillian Rose, Stephen, and Michelle.

A visitation for Rose will be held on Sunday, April 15, 2018, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Riotto Funeral Home. A visitation will also be held prior to the funeral service on April 16, 2018, at the Our Lady of Mercy Church - St. Vincent De Paul Chapel from 10:45 AM to 11:30 AM, followed by an 11:30 AM Mass. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
