Suyapa Joselyn Reyes

Suyapa Reyes a native of Jersey City, NJ, passed away on Sunday, November 3rd, at the Jersey City Medical Center surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was 47 years young.

Suyapa enjoyed spending quality time with her family, dancing to freestyle music, and summertime cook-outs. She was a social butterfly and wasn’t afraid to speak her mind. Suyapa will be remembered for her unwavering realness, strength, and unconditional love for her family. She did not let her illness slow her down and fought up to the very end. 

Suyapa is survived by her beloved boyfriend: Raul Paucar ;Her loving mother: Ercilia Cruz and stepfather: Charles Senatore; her beloved siblings: Karina Cruz and Miguel Cruz; her cherished children: Michael Anton Jr., Antonio Anton, Joshua Paucar, and Matthew Paucar; Her dear grandmother: Maria Marta Mejia; Also surviving are many loved aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins and wonderful friends. She will be missed by many and never will be forgotten.

A visitation for Suyapa will be held on Friday, November 8, 2019, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the funeral home (For GPS use address: 14 Stagg St., Jersey City). Funeral Services are Saturday, November 9, 2019, 9:30 AM arrival to the funeral home, followed by an 11:00 AM mass at Assumption all Saints, Jersey City. Interment will follow at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City.
