Szymon "Sam" Demianycz

Szymon Demianycz, 83, of Jersey City, and formerly of Poland, entered into eternal rest on September 22, 2017, at his home.

Szymon was born in Zdynia, Poland.  After serving two years in the Polish Army he came to United States of America in 1966.  Where he worked for Royal Insurance in New York City as a  Building Maintenance Mechanic for 32 years.

He predeceased his parents John and Martha, brothers Mihal, Stefan & Petro.  He is survived by sisters Anna, Maria & Katarzyna and by many Nieces & Nephews.

Visiting hours are on Sunday from 4-8pm, at Riotto Funeral Home, 3205 John F Kennedy BLVD, Jersey City, NJ 07306.  Panahyda At 7:00pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 2nd, 2017, 9:00 AM at the Funeral Home, 10am at SS Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, 549 Bergen Avenue, Jersey City. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, 340 Ridge Rd North Arlington, NJ 07031
