Taylor Blue Winsted

Taylor Blue Winsted, of New York, formerly of California, passed away on June 11, 2019.  Taylor was a bartender working in Brooklyn, New York at Hank’s Saloon.  He loved the outdoors, and his fondest memory was hiking the John Muir Trail, and skateboarding.

He will be dearly missed by his father, Edward J. Winsted; his mother, Carol Winsted; brother, Edward Ryan Winsted and his wife, Sunyang; stepfather, Michael Means; by his aunts, uncles, cousins, and by his many beloved friends in New York.  The amount of love Taylor has is expressed through his brother’s words, “He was everything that I wasn’t: strong, delicate, perceptive, fast, clever, better with people and he was my favourite. I hope he knows that. I want us all to remember the good times we had with him… He is forever in my heart and soul.  His memory will live on.  Thank you for making his journey so rich while it lasted.”

Funeral arrangements are done by Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Company, 3205 John F. Kennedy Blvd., Jersey City, NJ 07306.  Services are private cremation.  There will be a memorial service that will take place at a later date and time in California.    In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family requests visiting Go-Fund-Me for Taylor Blue Winsted.
