Vincent "Tommy" Miller

Vincent "Tommy" Miller a lifelong resident of Jersey City, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 24, 2017.  

Tommy retired from Eastern Oil, Jersey City and also worked for Packard Container, Hoboken.  He proudly served in the U.S. Army in Germany.

Tommy was an avid NY Mets and NY Giants fan.  He loved sports, caring for his pets, reading the daily paper and doing crosswords.

Tommy was the beloved husband of 53 years to Barbara Miller; devoted father of Cheryl and husband Michael David, Thomas Miller; loving grandfather of Meghan Connaughton; dear brother of Betty Lou Austin, Linda Miller, Peggy Miller and the late Barbara Tanner and William Miller.  Also survived by many loving relatives, dear friends and his loyal canine companions, Cuddles and Yuki.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 27, 2017, 2-4pm and 7-9pm at RIOTTO FUNERAL HOME & Cremation Company, 3205 John F. Kennedy Blvd., Jersey City, NJ 07306.  Everyone will meet for the Funeral Mass on Thursday, September 28, 2017 10am at St. Anne's Church, 3545 Kennedy Blvd, Jersey City, NJ 07306.  Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
