Vito Prinzo

Vito Prinzo, 85, a lifelong resident of Jersey City, Marion Section, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2018.  

Vito and his brother Patsy were the owners of Prinzo's Market on Dales Ave. in the Marion Section for over 50 years.  Vito proudly served in the U.S. Army as a medic during the Korean War.  

Vito was the beloved son of the late Anthony and Antoinette Prinzo; loving brother of Patsy and the late Carmine, Angelo, Anthony Prinzo, Jr., Madeline Infante and Dina LaBate.  Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and longtime friend Bob Shaver.

Cremation was private.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, January 20, 2018, 11:00am at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 99 Broadway, Jersey City, NJ 07306.  Inurnment will follow at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City.
