Waldo Yasell

Waldo Yasell passed away on July 17, 2019 at the age of 81 surrounded by his loved ones.  Waldo loved life.  He has a passion for taking care of other people, especially his family and his wife, Ines.  He will be remembered as a "very humble person, who cared more about others than himself."  He also loved his home back in Cuba from the types of music that would play to dancing.  He will also be remembered as a person who enjoyed putting smiles on everyone's faces. 

Waldo is survived by his sweet wife, Ines; his daughters Moraima Perez and her husband, Jose Perez; and Elizabeth Sawaged and her husband, George Sawaged.  He is survived by his grandchildren, Cassandra and Adam Perez, and Matthew, Zachary, and Sarah Sawaged; his brother, Angel Yasell and sister, Rubi; and by many nieces, nephews, and friends. He is predeceased by his parents, Waldo and Maria Yasell and his siblings. 

Visitation will be Thursday, July 18, 2019 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Company, 3205 John F. Kennedy Blvd. Jersey City, NJ 07306.  (For GPS navigation, it is best to use our parking lot address: 14 Stagg Street).  Everyone is to meet at 11:00 AM for a funeral mass at St. Anne's Church, 3545 John F. Kennedy Blvd. Interment will follow at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City.
