William James “Billy” Kirchoff, Sr., 48, of Hamburg, NJ, formerly of Jersey City, NJ, passed away on July 7, 2019 after complications from surgery. Billy enjoyed fishing, camping and watching The Dallas Cowboys with his dog, Donnie. He attended William L. Dickinson High School in Jersey City, and graduated from South Plainfield High School. He then graduated from Ramapo College on New Jersey, where he received his Bachelor's degree. He then became the manager of Maxwell House located in Hoboken, NJ.
Billy is the beloved father of William James Kirchoff, Jr., Charles Henry Aaron “Aaron” Kirchoff, and Ashley Nicole Kirchoff. Billy is the beloved son of Doris (nee Crismale) Kirchoff; the beloved younger brother of Karen Saminski, Jeanne Ferrucci, Marilyn “Mazz” Kirchoff, and Lisa Kirchoff. Billy is also survived by his deeply loved nieces, nephews, grand-niece, and grand-nephew: Jessica Dyer, Christie Ferrucci, William K.J. Witte, Stephanie Kirchoff, Michael Ferrucci, Jonathan Saminski, Joseph Ferrucci, Matthew Sikora and Ruby, and River Dyer. He is also survived by his beloved friend and newly engaged fiance, Mary Dagis.
He will be remembered by family members as, "forging many friendships wherever he went and will be cherished by his many friends old and new. Billy will enjoy fishing in heaven with his dad, William Charles "Bill" Kirchoff, who passed last year."
Visitation is on Thursday, July 11, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Company, 3205 John F. Kennedy Blvd. Jersey City. (For GPS Navigation, it is best to use our parking lot address: 14 Stagg Street). Prayers will be offered during visitation, and family and friends are invited to speak as well in memory of Billy.
