Angel Estrada

Angel L. Estrada, 87, of Jersey City, formerly of Ceiba, Puerto Rico, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, November 17, 2021.  Angel was born to the late parents, Hermenegildo and Cerefina Estrada.  Angel was a devout reverend for 14 years at Ebenezer Christian Church, Jersey City serving the community.  Angel was a servant to the Lord and enjoyed preaching the Gospel spreading love and hope to all.  He loved to power walk, plant flowers, to sing and loved to worship the Lord while he played the guitar. He also enjoyed playing and watching baseball. He never knew a stranger and made everyone feel welcomed.  He loved his family fiercely and deeply, and the family of Angel “takes great comfort in knowing that he is at peace with our Lord.”

Angel is survived by his loving and caring wife of 62 years, Maria; his daughters, Lillian and her spouse, Francisco Salgado, Jr. and Enid; by his grandchildren, Nina Francelee, Keith Jeremy, and Eden Alyssa; and by his great-grandchildren, Jayla Destiny, Luna Francelee, and Ember Rae.

Visitation is Monday, November 22, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Company, 3205 Kennedy Blvd. Jersey City, NJ. (For GPS navigation, it is best to use our parking lot address: 14 Stagg Street).  Funeral is Tuesday, November 23, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.  Entombment will follow at Holy Name Cemetery, 823 West Side Ave. Jersey City, NJ.  

Angel L. Estrada, 87, de Jersey City, antes de Ceiba, Puerto Rico, entró al descanso eterno el miércoles 17 de noviembre de 2021. Angel nació de los difuntos padres, Hermenegildo y Cerefina Estrada. Angel fue un devoto reverendo durante 14 años en la Iglesia Cristiana Ebenezer, Jersey City, sirviendo a la comunidad. Ángel era un siervo del Señor y disfrutaba predicando el Evangelio difundiendo amor y esperanza a todos. Le encantaba caminar con fuerza, plantar flores, cantar y adorar al Señor mientras tocaba la guitarra. También disfrutaba jugando y viendo béisbol. Nunca conoció a un extraño e hizo que todos se sintieran bienvenidos. Amaba a su familia feroz y profundamente, y la familia de Angel "se consuela mucho al saber que él está en paz con nuestro Señor".

 Angel le sobreviven su amorosa y cariñosa esposa durante 62 años, María; sus hijas, Lillian y su esposo, Francisco Salgado, Jr. y Enid; por sus nietos, Nina Francelee, Keith Jeremy y Eden Alyssa; y por sus bisnietos, Jayla Destiny, Luna Francelee y Ember Rae.

El velorio es el lunes 22 de noviembre de 2021 de 5:00 p.m. a 9:00 p.m. en Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Company, 3205 Kennedy Blvd. Jersey City, Nueva Jersey.
