Ann Carroll

Ann Carroll (DeMarco), 83, of Jersey City, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at Community Medical Center in Toms River on Saturday, August 3, 2024. She was born on August 2, 1941 in Jersey City to the late Catherine DeMarco and late Luigi DeMarco.

Ann was predeceased by her husband, Harry Carroll, and sisters, Nancy Pelli, Theresa Caperino and Mildred McCormick and brothers, Nicholas DeMarco, Joseph DeMarco, Michael DeMarco and Anthony DeMarco.  She is survived by her sons Kevin Carroll (Lisa) and Keith Carroll (Magda) and grandchildren Jared, Melanie and Morgan, brothers Louis DeMarco (Joyce) and Salvatore DeMarco (Theresa). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Ann worked in the banking and financial industry and retired as a clerk from Hudson County Courthouse. She was a faithful parishioner at St. Nicholas Church and enjoyed the occasional bus trip to Atlantic City with cherished friends and family. 

Visitation is on Monday, August 12, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Riotto Funeral & Cremation Company, 3205 Kennedy Blvd. Jersey City, NJ 07306. (For GPS navigation, it is best to use our parking lot entrance address: 14 Stagg Street). Funeral will begin on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the funeral home.  Funeral mass will follow at 10:30 AM at St. Nicholas Church (Central Ave. & Ferry St.), Jersey City. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, 340 Ridge Road, N. Arlington.
