Ann Linda Dwojak, 50, of Jersey City, NJ passed away peacefully at Center for Hope Hospice on June 19, 2024. In her nearly six-year battle with breast cancer, she displayed constant courage and strength and was an inspiration to all who loved her.
Annie was a loving, devoted mother who did an amazing job raising her son Jovanni, who meant the world to her. She was always so proud of the thoughtful person he was and of his accomplishments in completing a master’s degree and teaching. Annie was a caring, protective sister to her two brothers, John and Eric. One of her favorite pastimes was reminiscing and laughing with them about their antics growing up together. She loved spending time with her nephews Jaxen and Aiden, watching them grow in their childhood to become the beautiful, talented, and intelligent boys they are today. Her dog Valentine was also one of her greatest friends.
Annie loved Christmas and kept the wonderful tradition of hosting Christmas Eve for her family and friends throughout the years. She had a long and successful career as Executive Assistant at Willis of NY where she made great and truly supportive friends. She had some extraordinary lifelong friends who stayed by her side over the years. Many thanks are given to all her friends who went to appointments with her and visited her throughout her journey and to the nurses who cared for her so well during her stay at Center for Hope Hospice.
Annie is survived by her son, Jovanni Dwojak, and his girlfriend Lillina, her brother Eric Dwojak, and his wife Nicole Niebudek, her brother John Dwojak, and his sons Jaxen and Aiden, and their mother, Lauren. She was predeceased by her father John Dwojak and is survived by her mother Rose Wagner.
