Anna Rose Romeo gained her angel wings on Saturday morning, August 10, 2024. She is now joyfully reunited with her loving husband, Joseph; her infant son, Carmine; her caring grandson, Joey; her nine amazing brothers; her devoted parents; and all the other dear friends and relatives who have gone before her.
Anna leaves behind her three sons, Joseph Romeo, Rocky Romeo, and Michael Romeo, along with his wife, Jennifer. She is also survived by her three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, many cherished nieces and nephews, and a circle of close friends who were like family to her.
Born and raised in Jersey City, Anna grew up surrounded by the love and laughter of her large family. She later moved to Edison with her husband and children, where she dedicated herself to being a homemaker, creating a warm and loving home for her family. Anna also worked at SEARS in New Brunswick for many years, where she made lasting friendships and was known for her strong work ethic. In her later years, Anna moved to a 55+ community in Princeton, NJ, where she spent the last 20 years of her life.
Anna was known for her kindness, her unwavering devotion to her family, and her ability to make everyone feel special. She touched the lives of all who knew her and will be deeply missed by everyone.
Interment will take place on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at 1:45 PM at Holy Name Cemetery, 823 West Side Ave. Jersey City, NJ.
