Antonietta Molinaro (nee: Caroccia) Mrs. Molinaro entered into eternal rest on May 6, 2023 surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Molinaro was born on February 20th, 1936 and raised in Stio Salerno, Italy. Mr. & Mrs. Giuseppe Molinaro were married in Stio on September 10, 1959. They immigrated to the United States and settled in Jersey City. Mrs. Molinaro was a seamstress and then a lunch mom at St. Aloyisus Elementary School where her children attended. Later on she became a devoted homemaker and her late husband was a General Foreman for Local 6A Cement & Concrete in New York City. Together they proudly raised their 4 children in Jersey City. Giuseppe’s love of Manhattan would consist of weekend trips into the City with Antonietta and their 4 children.
Mrs. Molinaro enjoyed sitting at her window watching the neighborhood, she loved springtime gardening, cooking pasta, playing slot-machines and sitting on the porch.
Mrs. Molinaro was predeceased by her devoted and hard working husband, Giuseppe Molinaro in 1999.
Mrs. Molinaro is the daughter of the late, Pasquale and Prospera Caroccia, and was predeceased by her two brothers Domenico and Vito Caroccia.
She is survived by her treasured children, Anna DePaula, Antonio Molinaro, Joanne Molinaro and Pasqualina Wolfe. Her beloved grandchildren, Danielle, John, Joseph and Cristina. Her cherished great-grand children who she adored and always put a smile on her face, the precious, Lianna and Michael. She is survived by her sister Angelina Bello, and her sister-in-law Anna Molinaro of Cannobio, Italy. Also surviving are many loving relatives in Italy, and cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, neighbors in New Jersey.
Visitation is on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at RIOTTO FUNERAL HOME & Cremation Company, 3205 John F. Kennedy Blvd., Jersey City, NJ 07306 (For GPS Navigation, it is best to use our parking lot entrance address: 14 Stagg St., Jersey City). Funeral will begin on Thursday, May 11, 2023, 9:00 AM at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 AM at St. Aedan's Church, Jersey City. Entombment will take place at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum in North Arlington.
