Barbara Lippi

Barbara Lippi, 65, a lifelong resident of Jersey City, passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2020, after a battle with a long illness.  She was a devoted wife, and a homemaker who loved every minute spent raising her son, Erik. After her husband, Louis passed away, she worked as a cashier at Stop and Shop on Central Ave. Barbara will always be a free spirit and truly a child of the 60s who loved bell bottoms, Bob Dylan and sitting by the pool at her house on Central Ave. Barbara loved posting on Facebook and her ‘Good Morning’ messages were loved by all of her followers and friends. She loved living in Jersey City, because, as she said, ‘everything I want is within a couple of blocks away’. She was right, she could walk up the block and meet friends and talk, go shopping and watch the changing neighborhood. She loved traveling and visiting her friends and relatives in Colorado, Florida, Texas and North Carolina. Barbara met every challenge head on, she never backed down, and came back stronger each time. Her family and friends will miss her.

Barbara leaves behind her beloved son, Erik Bonini, her brother Jon Lippi, her sister in law Dawn and her nephew Rocco, sister in law Marie Restivo and her son David, cousins in Colorado, Texas, and Florida and her friend, Alicia Gorecki of North Carolina, all who will love and cherish her memory.  She is predeceased by her husband Louis Bonini and her parents, Mario and Yolanda Lippi.

Visitation is Saturday, November 14, 2020 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Riotto Funeral Home, 3205 Kennedy Blvd. Jersey City.  (For GPS navigation it is best to use our parking lot address: 14 Stagg Street).  In lieu of flowers, charitable donations can be made to the American Cancer Society in honor of Barbara's memory.
