Barbara Matos

Barbara Matos gave love so freely and had genuine relationships with all those she crossed paths with.  Barbara passed on to eternal life on Saturday, May 27, 2023 in her home that she raised her kids and grandchildren in. She was a wonderful mother who continuously gave to her family and those she loved.

Barbara was blessed with 55 years of life and made a great impact in her time on earth. She is survived by her husband Samuel Otero Sr, her two sons Antonio Parrales and Samuel Otero Jr and her only daughter Cristina Otero. She leaves behind beautiful grandchildren Ava, Savannah, Penelope and Valentina. 

Barbara celebrated her 55th birthday on May 9, 2023 in Puerto Rico and proclaimed it was her best birthday ever.  She will be missed and is loved by many beyond measure. 

Visitation is Tuesday, May 30, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Company, 3205 Kennedy Blvd. Jersey City, NJ 07306.  (For GPS navigation, it is best to use our parking lot entrance address: 14 Stagg Street, Jersey City).
