Beato Sepulveda
September 28, 1942 – July 15, 2025
It is with deep love and sorrow that we announce the passing of Beato Sepulveda, who entered eternal rest on July 15, 2025. Born on September 28, 1942 in San Cristóbal, Dominican Republic, Beato was the beloved son of the late Jose Sepulveda and Florentina Mallen.
Beato spent most of his life in his hometown of San Cristóbal, where he worked as a supervisor for the national electric company, C.D.E. In this role, he oversaw the installation of light poles and electrical infrastructure, bringing power to communities across the country—a legacy that continues to shine brightly today. In 1997, Beato relocated to the United States, where he found a new home and continued his hardworking spirit as an employee at Barnes & Noble until his retirement.
Beato will be remembered not only for his work ethic but also for his humility, loyalty, and integrity. He was a devoted father, cherished grandfather, loving brother, and dear friend. He found joy in playing dominoes, cheering for his favorite baseball teams, and sharing stories from his youth—stories that will live on in the hearts of his family.
Beato is survived by his loving children: Yania del Carmen Sepulveda, Reggis Vladimir Sepulveda, Hamington Beato Sepulveda, Leonel Sepulveda, and Ariel Sepulveda. He is also survived by his beloved siblings: Agueda, Jesus, Maria, Mercedes, Rafael, and Cesar Sepulveda, as well as 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his daughter, Rosa Malvis A. Sepulveda.
A visitation will be held in his honor on Saturday, July 19, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Company, 3205 John F. Kennedy Blvd. Jersey City, NJ 07306. (For GPS navigation it is best to use our parking lot address: 14 Stagg Street). During the service, a family-appointed individual will offer prayers, and Beato’s daughter will read a heartfelt letter to bid a final farewell. Private cremation will follow.
Beato’s legacy is one of dedication, humility, and love—a life well-lived and deeply treasured. His memory will remain a guiding light to all who knew and loved him.
