Bernard "Bernie" Henehan

Bernard “Bernie” Henehan, 74 of Jersey City, entered into eternal life on June 14, 2021.   Born February 24, 1947 in Jersey City to the late Thomas & Marie Henehan, he was a proud life long resident.  Bernie worked for over 30 years with Verizon as an Engineer retiring in 2002.   He was an avid bowler and loved watching the Yankee’s.  Everyone loved him, despite him being strong willed and opinionated, but he told you how it was and people respected him for that. 

He is preceded in death by his wife, Susan (nee: Amorosa) & his brother Charles Henehan.

Surviving to cherish his memory is his son David Henehan & his wife Tara DeFranco-Henehan, his brothers, Anton & Thomas Henehan and loved nieces and nephews, Megan Escobar, Chelesa Ducane & Justin Henehan.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 21, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Co., 3205 Kennedy Blvd, Jersey City, NJ.  (For GPS use 14 Stagg Street).   Cremation will be held privately.
