Bridget Lucciola

Bridget "Betty" Lucciola, 85, a lifelong resident of Jersey City passed away on Monday, June 15, 2020.   Born and raised in the Marion Section, Betty was a devoted parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church.

Betty was a teacher's aide for 25 years at P.S. No. 28 Christa McAuliffe School in Jersey City.

Betty was the beloved wife of the late John Lucciola; devoted mother of Rocco & Ida Lucciola, Denise & Joseph Conti, John & Jeanette Lucciola, Emilio & Annette Lucciola; loving grandmother of Nicole & Paul Kouba, Rocco & Melissa Lucciola, John Thomas and Antonio Lucciola; dear sister of John & Basha Pender, Dolores Luciano & Anthony, Antoinette Olsen & her late husband Kevin.

Bridget taught us to need less and smile more.  She asked for nothing but the smile on her children's faces. She made lifetime friends and loved her family dearly.

Due to CDC guidelines, visitation in the funeral home, the funeral mass and interment at Holy Cross Cemetery is private.  In memory of Bridget, donations can be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital (www.stjude.org)
