Carlos Collazo

Carlos A. Collazo, AKA (Papi), (Charlie Grande)(Tata)(Tio)(Charlie el Loco), or (Carlito), was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on June 12,1954 and passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family after battling for two years from liver cancer on Friday, July 5, 2024 at the tender age of 70.  Carlos was a hard working family man who enjoyed providing for others. He also loved fishing/crabbing, and always believed that one man’s trash is another man’s treasure. He will be missed dearly.

Carlos is preceded in life by his loving wife Iris Quintero who passed away on April 1st, 2020.  He is survived by his caring children, Michelle, Charlie, Xiomara, Katherine, Yasmine, and Dylilah whom he raised as one of his children, 15 treasured grandchildren, 2 adored great grandchildren, and an abundance of devoted nieces and nephews who all loved him dearly.

Visitation is Tuesday, July 9, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Company, 3205 Kennedy Blvd. Jersey City, NJ 07306. (For GPS Navigation it is best to use our parking lot address: 14 Stagg Street).  Funeral is Wednesday, July 10. 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the funeral home.  Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 340 Ridge Road, North Arlington.
